• Responsibilities include analyzing financial data sets, providing insights into key financial performance indicators, conducting variance analysis, and developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
• The analyst will transform raw data into user-friendly visualizations, ensure the accuracy and relevance of Power BI reports, and gather data from multiple sources.
• The role also involves collaboration with various teams, presenting financial insights to stakeholders, performing ad hoc analysis, and creating customized reports for senior management.
• The position allows for remote work anywhere in the UK.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field is essential.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial data analysis with a focus on data-driven decision-making is required.
• Proven experience in developing reports and dashboards using Power BI is necessary.
• A strong understanding of financial concepts, accounting principles, and financial statement analysis is essential.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, including DAX and Power Query, is required.
• Experience with financial databases and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of data modeling, querying languages (SQL), and ETL processes is necessary.
• The ability to work with large data sets and perform complex analysis while maintaining attention to detail is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements, are essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for presenting complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
• Power BI Certification and financial analyst certifications such as CFA, FMVA, or CPA are preferred.
• Previous experience in a finance function within a SaaS, Enterprise Software, or Private Equity business is highly advantageous.
• The candidate must be a fast learner, adaptable, and possess time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Looker, and familiarity with cloud data services (e.g., Azure, AWS) is beneficial.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
• The candidate must be legally authorized to work in the UK.
