Description:
We are looking for a fast-learning Junior Python Developer who loves Python and code quality to unlock the raw potential of Big Web Data.
The product involves SaaS solutions that transform vast pools of web data from the open and dark web into structured web data feeds, ready for machines to consume.
You will be part of a progressive team of 60+ qualified specialists, including developers, analysts, product managers, sales, and customer support professionals.
Your mentor will be a Team Lead with solid experience in this area.
Together, we will develop efficient web scraping scripts for E-Commerce data extraction using Python.
You will ensure high-quality data output through the identification and resolution of issues.
Troubleshooting and providing support for client-reported bugs and system problems will be part of your responsibilities.
You will collaborate with team members, maintaining regular communication and escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate personnel.
Implementing testing procedures for Python-based web scraping scripts will also be required.
Requirements:
Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
You should have 1–2 years of commercial experience with Python coding and scripting.
Experience in code development with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is required.
Strong web scraping experience is necessary.
Knowledge of HTML structure and how to extract entities is important.
Hands-on experience with Linux is required.
You should have strong familiarity with GitHub.
Experience working with Relational Databases is necessary.
The ability to prioritize tasks is essential.
Good documentation skills are required.
