Remote (Fluent English) Junior Python Developer

Description:

• The company is seeking a fast-learning Junior Python Developer who is passionate about Python and code quality to tap into the potential of Big Web Data.
• The role involves working on SaaS products that convert web data from the open and dark web into structured data feeds for machine consumption.
• Joining a team of 60+ specialists, including developers, analysts, product managers, sales, and customer support professionals, with a Team Lead as a mentor.
• Responsibilities include developing efficient web scraping scripts for E-Commerce data extraction using Python, ensuring high-quality data output, troubleshooting client-reported bugs, collaborating with team members, and implementing testing procedures.

Requirements:

• Must have fluent written and spoken English.
• 1–2 years of commercial experience in Python coding and scripting.
• Strong web scraping experience is required.
• Knowledge of HTML structure for entity extraction.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and familiarity with GitHub.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and good documentation skills.
• Understanding of network traffic or experience, data collection, big data, and the ability to work towards a common goal are a plus.
• A great sense of humor is appreciated.
