Remote (Fluent English) Junior Python Developer

Description:

• The company is seeking a fast-learning Junior Python Developer who is passionate about Python and code quality to work on unlocking the potential of Big Web Data.
• The role involves developing efficient web scraping scripts for E-Commerce data extraction using Python.
• The team will ensure high-quality data output by identifying and resolving issues, troubleshooting client-reported bugs, and providing system support.
• Collaboration with team members, maintaining communication, and implementing testing procedures for Python-based web scraping scripts are key responsibilities.
• The company offers SaaS products to transform web data into structured feeds for machine consumption.
• The team consists of 60+ specialists, including developers, analysts, product managers, sales, and customer support professionals, with a Team Lead as a mentor.

Requirements:

• Fluent written and spoken English is a must.
• 1–2 years of commercial experience in Python coding and scripting is required.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for code development.
• Strong web scraping experience and knowledge of HTML structure for entity extraction.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and familiarity with GitHub.
• Experience working with Relational Databases and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Good documentation skills are necessary.
• Additional experience in web crawling, network traffic, Non-relational Databases, data collection, big data, E-commerce/News, blogs, and teamwork is a plus.
• A great sense of humor is appreciated.
