Remote (Fluent English) Junior Python Developer

Description:

• The company is seeking a fast-learning Junior Python Developer who is passionate about Python and code quality to work on unlocking the potential of Big Web Data.
• The role involves developing efficient web scraping scripts for E-Commerce data extraction using Python.
• The team will ensure high-quality data output by identifying and resolving issues, troubleshooting client-reported bugs, and providing system support.
• Collaboration with team members, maintaining communication, and escalating unresolved issues is essential.
• Testing procedures for Python-based web scraping scripts will be implemented.

Requirements:

• Fluent written and spoken English is a must.
• 1–2 years of commercial experience with Python coding and scripting is required.
• Proficiency in code development with JavaScript, HTML & CSS.
• Strong web scraping experience is necessary.
• Knowledge of HTML structure for entity extraction.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and familiarity with GitHub.
• Experience working with Relational Databases and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Good documentation skills are essential.

Would Be a Plus:

• Experience in Web crawling and understanding of network traffic.
• Experience with Non-relational Databases and data collection, big data.
• Background in E-commerce / News, blogs.
• Ability to work collaboratively and a great sense of humor.
