Remote (Fluent English) Junior Python Developer (web scraping)

Description:

• The company is seeking a fast-learning Junior Python Developer with a passion for Python and code quality to work on web scraping projects.
• The role involves developing efficient web scraping scripts for E-Commerce data extraction using Python.
• The team will ensure high-quality data output by identifying and resolving issues, troubleshooting client-reported bugs, and providing system support.
• Collaboration with team members, regular communication, and escalation of unresolved issues are key responsibilities.
• Testing procedures for Python-based web scraping scripts will be implemented.

Requirements:

• Fluent written and spoken English is a must.
• Candidates should have 1–2 years of commercial experience with Python coding and scripting.
• Experience in code development with JavaScript, HTML & CSS is required.
• Strong web scraping experience is essential.
• Knowledge of HTML structure for entity extraction is necessary.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and familiarity with GitHub are expected.
• Working experience with Relational Databases is a requirement.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and good documentation skills are essential.

Would Be a Plus:

• Experience in Web crawling, network traffic understanding, or experience with Non-relational Databases.
• Understanding or experience with data collection, big data, E-commerce/News, blogs.
• Ability to work for a common result and a great sense of humor.
