Remote (Fluent English) Junior Python Developer (web scraping)

Description:

• The company is seeking a fast-learning Junior Python Developer with a passion for Python and code quality to work on web scraping projects.
• The role involves developing efficient web scraping scripts for E-Commerce data extraction using Python.
• The team will work on transforming web data from the open and dark web into structured web data feeds for machine consumption.
• Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality data output, troubleshooting client-reported bugs, and collaborating with team members.
• The position also involves implementing testing procedures for Python-based web scraping scripts.

Requirements:

• Fluent written and spoken English is required.
• Candidates should have 1–2 years of commercial experience with Python coding and scripting.
• Experience in code development with JavaScript, HTML & CSS is necessary.
• Strong web scraping experience is a must.
• Knowledge of HTML structure and hands-on experience with Linux are essential.
• Familiarity with GitHub, working with Relational Databases, and the ability to prioritize tasks are required.
• Good documentation skills are necessary.

Would Be a Plus:

• Experience in Web crawling, network traffic understanding, or experience with Non-relational Databases.
• Understanding or experience with data collection, big data, and working in E-commerce / News, blogs.
• Ability to work for a common result and a great sense of humor are desirable.
