Remote (Fluent English) Junior Python Developer (web scraping)

Description:

• The company is seeking a fast-learning Junior Python Developer proficient in Python and dedicated to code quality to work on web scraping projects.
• The role involves developing efficient web scraping scripts for E-Commerce data extraction using Python.
• The team focuses on transforming web data from the open and dark web into structured web data feeds for machine consumption.
• You will collaborate with a team of 60+ specialists, including developers, analysts, product managers, sales, and customer support professionals.
• Your mentor will be a Team Lead with extensive experience in the field.
• Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality data output, troubleshooting client-reported bugs, and system problems, and implementing testing procedures for Python-based web scraping scripts.

Requirements:

• Fluent written and spoken English is a must.
• 1–2 years of commercial experience with Python coding and scripting is required.
• Proficiency in code development with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is necessary.
• Strong web scraping experience is essential.
• Knowledge of HTML structure and extraction of entities is required.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and familiarity with GitHub are necessary.
• Experience working with Relational Databases is a must.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and good documentation skills are required.
• Experience in Web crawling, network traffic understanding, Non-relational Databases, data collection, big data, E-commerce/News, blogs, and teamwork skills are a plus.
• A great sense of humor is appreciated.
