Description:

SupportYourApp is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to help maintain our infrastructure at the highest level.
The position is full-time and based in Portugal.
The role involves automating development and testing processes, building and maintaining CI/CD processes, and configuring and monitoring systems using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios, ELK, and Sentry.
Responsibilities also include supporting cloud servers, working with databases, ensuring server and system security, and documenting system inventories.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in system or network administration, primarily with Linux servers.
Knowledge of computer networks and protocols, including network topology basics, OSI model, and key TCP/IP stack protocols (DNS, IP, TCP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, WebSockets) is required.
Practical experience with Linux and scripting skills in Bash are essential.
Experience with Docker, docker-compose, and building CI/CD processes using Jenkins and Ansible is necessary.
Candidates should have experience administering web servers and load balancers (Nginx, Apache Tomcat, Haproxy) and configuring Postfix (IMAP, DMARC, SPF, DKIM).
Familiarity with tools for ensuring availability (Keepalived, Corosync) and managing MySQL and PostgreSQL databases is required.
Knowledge of SQL syntax, profiling, and performance optimization is necessary.
Experience with ProxySQL, Repmgr, Redis, Memcached, RabbitMQ, and the Grafana/Prometheus/Promtail/Oncall stack is required.
Candidates should have experience with AWS/S3 and Cloudflare.
An intermediate level of English (B1) or higher is required.
