As a Backend Engineer, you will enhance GoSpotCheck’s image recognition platform by building clean, scalable, and maintainable backend services and data pipelines.
You will explore new use cases for customers and build highly scalable products for enterprise clients while solving complex engineering challenges.
Collaboration with your Agile team will be essential to improve the product and customer experience.
Your engineering efforts will help customers turn image data into insightful and actionable reports.

Requirements:
You must have over 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
Broad experience with various languages, frameworks, and programming paradigms is required, with a focus on using the best technology for results.
Solid experience with Go/Golang, Postgres, OpenSearch, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, and Agile practices is essential for immediate impact.
Experience implementing event-driven architecture using technologies such as Kafka or Pub Sub is necessary.
A strong understanding of microservices and service-oriented architectures is required.
Deep expertise in gRPC APIs and/or RESTful APIs is essential.
You should believe in the benefits of automated testing.
The ability to rapidly diagnose and troubleshoot real-world problems with minimal context is required.
Involvement in planning, architecture, and strategic planning is expected.
Solid computer science fundamentals, including data modeling, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and programming languages, are necessary.
Bonus points for experience in designing data pipelines and transformations for scalable and maintainable analytics.
