Description:
- SignalFire is seeking exceptional AI Engineers to join its portfolio companies as founding team members.
- This role involves working directly with visionary founders in SignalFire's portfolio of over 200+ groundbreaking startups.
- The position allows you to shape the future of AI across various industries and bring transformative ideas to life.
- Responsibilities include designing, developing, and deploying machine learning (ML) and deep learning models for cutting-edge applications.
- You will build pipelines for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training.
- The role requires deploying and optimizing models in production for real-time and batch processing.
- You will work directly with founders to align AI/ML solutions with product and business strategies.
- Conducting research on emerging AI technologies and integrating state-of-the-art methodologies is also part of the job.
- You will develop and optimize RAG pipelines, agent architectures, and other LLM-powered systems.
- This is a full-time opportunity directly with portfolio startups, not through SignalFire.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, or applied AI.
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX is required.
- A strong background in data manipulation with Pandas, NumPy, and Dask is necessary.
- Experience with big data tools like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka is essential.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes is required.
- Knowledge of MLOps tools like MLflow, TFX, SageMaker, or DataRobot is necessary.
- Experience in early-stage environments or lean teams is considered a plus.
