Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining backend systems, developing high-performance APIs and microservices, optimizing databases, collaborating with founders on technical strategy, ensuring secure and cost-efficient infrastructure, and establishing best practices for software development.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience as a backend engineer with a proven track record of shipping production systems.
Expertise in backend frameworks such as Node.js, Django, Flask, Ruby on Rails, FastAPI, or Spring Boot is required.
A strong understanding of databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, and Redis, along with data modeling skills, is necessary.
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is essential.
Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, Node.js, or Ruby is required.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools is expected.
Experience in early-stage startups or lean teams is a plus.
