- Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining backend systems, developing high-performance APIs and microservices, optimizing databases, collaborating with founders on technical strategy, ensuring secure and cost-efficient infrastructure, and establishing best practices for software development.
Requirements:
- Candidates should have 3+ years of experience as a backend engineer with a proven track record of shipping production systems.
- Expertise in backend frameworks such as Node.js, Django, Flask, Ruby on Rails, FastAPI, or Spring Boot is required.
- A strong understanding of databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, and Redis, along with data modeling skills, is necessary.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is essential.
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, Node.js, or Ruby is required.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools is expected.
- Experience in early-stage startups or lean teams is a plus.
