Requirements:
Previous experience as a CTO, founding engineer, or senior software engineer in a fintech startup or payments-related company is required.
Experience at companies like Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, or similar is highly desirable.
Strong expertise in mobile app development for iOS, Android, or cross-platform frameworks like React Native is necessary.
A deep understanding of API integrations, financial transactions, and payment processing is essential.
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in fintech, including money transmission laws, KYC, and AML, is required.
The candidate should have the ability to make critical technical decisions while balancing speed and scalability.
Experience leading teams or mentoring engineers is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment are essential.
