Description:

BridgeHealthAI is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Founding Engineer) to help build an AI-native care coordination platform aimed at eradicating health disparities for underserved families.
The role involves full stack engineering, including building and owning end-to-end features across the stack with technologies such as React (frontend), Kotlin + Python (backend), and PostgreSQL (database).
Responsibilities include leading the development of LLM-integrated features, architecting data pipelines and infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams, making key architectural decisions, contributing to engineering culture, and iterating quickly based on user feedback.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in full stack engineering, ideally in a startup or fast-paced product team.
Mastery in either backend or frontend development is required, along with flexibility and interest in working across the stack.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, testable, and scalable code are essential.
Experience with or eagerness to learn LLMs and OpenAI technologies is necessary.
Candidates should be able to deploy code end-to-end and have familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
A deep care for health equity and a passion for using technology for real-world impact are important.
Excitement about building from scratch, iterating quickly, and collaborating cross-functionally is expected.
