Description:
As a founding engineer and the 5th team member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our technology and product.
You will lead and strategize on engineering, product development, and team scaling while also contributing directly to the codebase.
You will make critical decisions on building solutions in-house or partnering with others, driving immediate impact.
This role requires a self-starter who thrives with little hand-holding and is an absolute go-getter.
You will seamlessly switch between high-level strategy and detailed execution.
Requirements:
You must have a minimum of 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, networking, and system design are required.
Proven experience in building and scaling highly scalable, cloud-native solutions is necessary.
You should have experience leading engineering teams and driving technical strategy.
A practitioner of DevOps principles is essential.
Familiarity with microservice architectures is required.
Proficiency with public cloud platforms, preferably AWS, is necessary.
Preferred qualifications include extensive experience with Go (Golang) and proficiency in Unix/Linux environments.
Deep experience with AWS managed services, such as DynamoDB, SQS, and Lambda, is preferred.
Prior startup experience is also a plus.
