MetalBear is an innovative seed-stage startup focused on transforming how tech companies deploy their code.

The role is for a Founding Solution Engineer Lead in the EMEA region, preferably based in Israel, and is a full-time remote position.
The selected candidate will be the first customer-facing hire in the EMEA region, responsible for designing, building, and leading the customer function.
The role offers an accelerated career trajectory and the opportunity to work directly with the CEO and VP GTM.
Responsibilities include owning the entire customer journey, managing pre-sales demonstrations, executing Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), and ensuring customer success.
The position allows for dynamic evolution based on the candidate's strengths and interests, with opportunities for growth and specialization.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 2 years of professional experience in high-performing environments such as startups, consulting, or professional services.
A proven capability or potential to excel in customer-facing roles is essential, demonstrating professionalism and a passion for client experiences.
A track record of high achievement in professional, academic, or personal endeavors is required.
Candidates should be tech-savvy and eager to learn new products and tools, comfortable with technical discussions and problem-solving.
Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and microservices architecture (K8S) is preferred, along with some coding skills.
The ideal candidate thrives in execution mode, is detail-oriented, and analytically sharp, delivering high-quality results.
Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels are necessary.
Candidates must possess strong organizational and prioritization skills, balancing tactical execution with strategic thinking.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
Self-motivation and ambition are essential, with a desire to make a significant impact in an early-stage startup.
Experience in sales, pre-sales, or customer success roles is highly desirable but not mandatory.
