Description:

  • MetalBear is an innovative seed-stage startup focused on transforming how tech companies deploy their code.
  • The company is backed by world-class VCs and has successfully deployed its solution at leading tech companies, including many Fortune 500 firms.
  • The role is for a Founding Solution Engineer Lead in the EMEA region, preferably based in Israel, and is a full-time remote position.
  • The selected candidate will be the first customer-facing hire in the EMEA region, responsible for designing, building, and leading the customer function.
  • The role offers an accelerated career trajectory and the opportunity to work directly with the CEO and VP GTM.
  • Responsibilities include owning the entire customer journey, managing pre-sales demonstrations, executing Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), and ensuring customer success.
  • The position allows for dynamic evolution based on the candidate's strengths and interests, with opportunities for growth and specialization.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have at least 2 years of professional experience in high-performing environments such as startups, consulting, or professional services.
  • A proven capability or potential to excel in customer-facing roles is essential, demonstrating professionalism and a passion for client experiences.
  • A track record of high achievement in professional, academic, or personal endeavors is required.
  • Candidates should be tech-savvy and eager to learn new products and tools, comfortable with technical discussions and problem-solving.
  • Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and microservices architecture (K8S) is preferred, along with some coding skills.
  • The ideal candidate thrives in execution mode, is detail-oriented, and analytically sharp, delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels are necessary.
  • Candidates must possess strong organizational and prioritization skills, balancing tactical execution with strategic thinking.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
  • Self-motivation and ambition are essential, with a desire to make a significant impact in an early-stage startup.
  • Experience in sales, pre-sales, or customer success roles is highly desirable but not mandatory.
