Description:
The Freelance AI Security Engineer role at Mindrift involves contributing to the development of AI by training systems to identify and exploit security weaknesses in a controlled and ethical manner.
You will design and execute a code injection attack to identify vulnerabilities in an AI-powered computer agent.
The position requires working with Docker containers, writing Bash and Python scripts, modifying HTML files, and crafting malicious Linux commands.
An onboarding session and sample documentation will be provided to guide you through the process.
This role is flexible and allows you to contribute to AI development from anywhere, at any time.
Requirements:
Strong Linux administration and automation skills in Bash, Python, and PowerShell are required.
Experience with web security, including HTTP, API security, web scraping, and DOM manipulation, is necessary.
Knowledge of AI security risks such as prompt injection, adversarial attacks, and AI red teaming is essential.
A deep understanding of networking protocols, OS security, and web application security is required.
Cloud security expertise in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD security is necessary.
Proficiency in English at an advanced level (C1) or above is required.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
Strong communication skills are necessary for reporting findings and collaborating with teams.
The role is fully remote, requiring only a laptop, internet connection, available time, and enthusiasm for challenges.
