Remote Freelance AI Security Engineer

Description:

• The Freelance AI Security Engineer position at Mindrift is a part-time, remote role focused on training AI systems to identify and exploit security weaknesses in a controlled and ethical manner.
• You will design and execute a code injection attack to identify vulnerabilities in an AI-powered computer agent.
• The role involves working with Docker containers, writing Bash and Python scripts, modifying HTML files, and crafting malicious Linux commands.
• An onboarding session and sample documentation will be provided to guide you through the process.
• Mindrift aims to advance the field of artificial intelligence through collaborative Generative AI projects with domain experts.

Requirements:

• Strong Linux administration and automation skills in Bash, Python, and PowerShell are required.
• Experience with web security, including HTTP, API security, web scraping, and DOM manipulation, is necessary.
• Knowledge of AI security risks such as prompt injection, adversarial attacks, and AI red teaming is essential.
• A deep understanding of networking protocols, OS security, and web application security is required.
• Cloud security expertise in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD security is necessary.
• Proficiency in English at an advanced level (C1) or above is required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
• Strong communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with teams are necessary.
• The role is fully remote, requiring only a laptop, internet connection, available time, and enthusiasm for challenges.
