Description:
The Freelance DevSecOps Engineer role at Mindrift focuses on cybersecurity and automation within the realm of Generative AI.
You will train AI systems to identify and exploit security weaknesses in a controlled and ethical manner.
Your responsibilities include designing and executing a code injection attack to identify vulnerabilities in an AI-powered computer agent.
The position involves working with Docker containers, writing Bash and Python scripts, modifying HTML files, and crafting malicious Linux commands.
An onboarding session and sample documentation will be provided to guide you through the process.
This is a part-time, fully remote role that allows you to contribute to AI development from anywhere.
Requirements:
Strong Linux administration and automation skills are required, specifically in Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nessus, and Nmap is necessary.
You must have knowledge of AI security risks, including prompt injection, adversarial attacks, and AI red teaming.
Experience in automating security tasks, securing DevOps workflows, and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines is essential.
Cloud security expertise in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD security is required.
Relevant security certifications such as OSCP, CEH, CISSP, OSWE, or API Security Architect are needed.
Proficiency in English at an advanced level (C1) or above is mandatory.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
Strong communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with teams are essential.
You must have a laptop, internet connection, available time, and enthusiasm to take on challenges, as the role is fully remote.
