Remote Freelance Front End Developer

Description:

• The client is seeking a freelance front-end developer to assist with multiple projects, primarily using Umbraco and Vue.
• The position is temporary, starting the week of January 6th for a duration of 2 to 3 weeks.
• The role is remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements.
• The developer will report to RY’s Lead Front-End Developer and collaborate closely with digital designers, UX, and client services.
• Project-specific details will be shared after a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is signed and both parties agree to proceed.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5 or more years of experience as a front-end developer, with agency experience preferred.
• Exceptional knowledge of HTML and SASS/CSS is required.
• Strong knowledge of Vue.js, specifically the Composition API, is essential.
• A solid understanding of JavaScript fundamentals is necessary.
• Knowledge of animation techniques, such as GSAP or similar, is important.
• Good knowledge of Git and branching strategies is required.
• Candidates must demonstrate the ability and motivation to test their code and ensure it is fit for client review.
• Experience translating designs from Sketch files is a bonus.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps CI and Jira is also considered a bonus.
