Join Human Made as a freelance Senior Web Engineer and work on interesting and complex projects alongside industry experts.
Human Made is a globally distributed company specializing in digital solutions powered by Altis, their WordPress platform.
Responsibilities include taking ownership of projects, assisting other developers, architecting projects, debugging, improving tooling and code, and providing architectural input.
As a freelancer, you will be added to the talent pool and invited to projects based on availability and expertise, integrating into the team and participating in meetings and activities.

Requirements:

Must be comfortable with autonomy, tight deadlines, and remote work experiences.
Excellent communication skills and Agile project delivery history are essential.
Comprehensive understanding of modern web development, with expertise in PHP and JavaScript in a WordPress context.
Knowledge of WordPress internals, components, and technologies, as well as the larger WordPress ecosystem.
Proficiency in debugging, HTML5, CSS, Git, MySQL, RESTful APIs, setting up local development environments, and written and oral communication in English.
Ability to manage workload, understand performance and security considerations, architect complex subsystems, and work on large enterprise WordPress projects.
