Remote Freelance Site Reliability Engineer (Security Automation & Penetration Testing)

Description:

• The role is for a Freelance Site Reliability Engineer focusing on Security Automation and Penetration Testing at Mindrift.
• You will contribute to the advancement of AI by training AI systems to identify and exploit security weaknesses in a controlled and ethical manner.
• Your responsibilities will include designing and executing code injection attacks to identify vulnerabilities in AI-powered computer agents.
• You will work with Docker containers, write Bash and Python scripts, modify HTML files, and craft malicious Linux commands.
• An onboarding session and sample documentation will be provided to guide you through the process.
• The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere with just a laptop and an internet connection.

Requirements:

• Strong Linux administration and automation skills are required, specifically in Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
• Experience with web security, including HTTP, API security, web scraping, and DOM manipulation, is necessary.
• You must have knowledge of AI security risks, such as prompt injection, adversarial attacks, and AI red teaming.
• A deep understanding of networking protocols, OS security, and web application security is essential.
• Cloud security expertise in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD security is required.
• Proficiency in English at an advanced level (C1) or above is mandatory.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are needed for this role.
• Strong communication skills are necessary for reporting findings and collaborating with teams.
• You must have a laptop, an internet connection, available time, and enthusiasm to take on challenges.
