Remote Freelance Site Reliability Engineer (Security Automation & Penetration Testing)

Description:

• The role is for a Freelance Site Reliability Engineer focusing on Security Automation and Penetration Testing.
• You will contribute to AI development by training AI systems to identify and exploit security weaknesses in a controlled and ethical manner.
• Your responsibilities include designing and executing a code injection attack to identify vulnerabilities in an AI-powered computer agent.
• You will work with Docker containers, write Bash and Python scripts, modify HTML files, and craft malicious Linux commands.
• An onboarding session and sample documentation will be provided to guide you through the process.
• The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere with just a laptop and internet connection.

Requirements:

• Strong Linux administration and automation skills are required, specifically in Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nessus, and Nmap is necessary.
• Knowledge of AI security risks, including prompt injection, adversarial attacks, and AI red teaming, is essential.
• Experience in automating security tasks, securing DevOps workflows, and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines is required.
• Cloud security expertise in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD security is needed.
• Relevant security certifications such as OSCP, CEH, CISSP, OSWE, or API Security Architect are mandatory.
• Proficiency in English at an advanced level (C1) or above is required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role.
• Strong communication skills are needed for reporting findings and collaborating with teams.
• You must have a laptop, internet connection, available time, and enthusiasm to take on challenges.
