Description:

  • The position is for a Freelance Senior Backend/Fullstack Developer with a fixed-term contract of 1 year, with the potential for renewal to an indefinite term.
  • The role is remote, requiring 20-40 hours of work per week.
  • The start date is ASAP, with an initial collaboration duration of 1 month and a strong possibility of renewal based on upcoming projects.
  • Responsibilities include leading full stack feature development, driving architecture and design decisions, collaborating with product managers and designers, mentoring junior developers, implementing automated testing and CI/CD, contributing to roadmap planning, staying updated with industry trends, and maintaining a positive team environment.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience is required, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
  • Extensive experience with Symfony, including deep knowledge of Doctrine ORM and key Symfony components such as Security and Event Dispatchers.
  • Advanced understanding and practical experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
  • Proficiency in writing and maintaining unit and integration tests is necessary.
  • A solid understanding of React.js is required, with the ability to improve frontend as needed.
  • Strong experience with MySQL, including design, optimization, and management, is essential.
  • Experience with Docker for managing development environments is required.
  • Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automating build, test, and deployment processes is necessary.
  • Awareness of security best practices for frontend and backend development, particularly when handling sensitive healthcare data, is important.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities are required.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with SaaS products and the healthcare industry is a strong advantage but not mandatory.
