Description:

UpDoc is an early-stage startup focused on creating a clinically validated, physician-supervised conversational AI assistant for managing chronic diseases.
The company was founded by two Stanford physicians and is backed by several investors and health system partners.
The position is fully remote and is for a Front-End Developer to join the team.
The developer will be responsible for implementing design prototypes into functional interfaces.
The role includes building components for both the provider portal and the patient mobile app.
The developer will integrate the front end with the backend to enhance the application.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 2+ years of experience with Typescript and web development.
A minimum of 1 year of experience working with Svelte.js or similar component-based frameworks is required.
Solid proficiency in Svelte.js and Sveltekit is necessary.
Strong proficiency in Tailwind CSS is essential.
Familiarity with CapacitorJS is expected.
Highly desired qualifications include past experience with development for Epic EMR-based systems.
Candidates should be highly motivated and excited about the opportunity to contribute.
Experience with healthcare data standards such as FHIR is preferred.
An understanding of accessibility standards and best practices is important.
Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies is a plus.
Familiarity with UX design principles and design thinking is beneficial.
Previous experience in a startup environment or healthcare technology is also highly desired.
