Remote Front End Developer

Description:

• Front End Developers at Made Media work as part of the Design team to create visually appealing and accessible websites and digital applications for top brands in arts, culture, and entertainment.
• Responsibilities include crafting responsive HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, collaborating with Designers and Developers, implementing animations, and managing pattern libraries.
• The role involves working on design systems, making informed design decisions, and ensuring creative deliverables adhere to style guidelines.
• Candidates should have a strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, elegant code, and visual communication skills.
• The position requires autonomy, teamwork, self-motivation, and remote work capabilities.
• Essential skills include experience in a similar role, knowledge of accessibility standards, layout, typography, Adobe Creative Suite, version control, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a Front End Designer/Developer role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, elegant code, and visual communication skills.
• Experience with modular design systems and accessibility standards.
• Understanding of layout, typography, hierarchy, Adobe Creative Suite, and version control (Git).
• Ability to work autonomously, in a team, self-motivate, communicate effectively, troubleshoot, and pay attention to detail.
