Description:
The Front-End Developer at VERB will be responsible for architecting and implementing user interfaces for web applications using React.
Responsibilities include participating in project stand-ups and sprint reviews, optimizing applications for performance and scalability, collaborating with various teams to deliver user-facing products, creating and enhancing front-end systems, writing well-tested code, participating in code reviews, updating and maintaining applications, mentoring team members, and staying updated on current trends and technologies.
Requirements:
5+ years of JavaScript experience is required for this position.
A post-secondary education in IT Web Programming, Computer Science, or equivalent experience is necessary.
Experience with React/React Native or similar technologies like Angular or Vue is essential.
Proficiency in browser APIs and optimizing front-end performance is required.
Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS, including layouts, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility concepts is a must.
Familiarity with code versioning tools like Git and SVN is necessary.
The candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, knowledge of web development techniques, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Being highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment is crucial for this role.
