Remote Front End Developer (AI/ML Shelf Automation)

Description:

• The job involves optimizing the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of the existing web customer portal for a unique SaaS platform focused on AI/ML-powered automation applications for shelves and cabinets.
• The project aims to leverage current back-end functionality while rebuilding the front-end to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Technologies used include React, Node.js, Express.js, Mongoose, and MySQL.
• Responsibilities include reverse engineering existing code, acting as a consultant for the client, making technical decisions on tools/technologies, architecture, and design, integrating with 3rd party services, and starting front-end projects from scratch.

Requirements:

• Expertise in front-end development throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency in reading existing code on Node.js + Express.js.
• Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) needs documentation.
• Experience in maintaining high code quality, conducting practice demos for clients, and being open to feedback and working in uncertain conditions.
• English proficiency at the Upper-Intermediate level (spoken/written).
