Description:
The position is for an Intermediate Front End Developer on a 1-year contract, working remotely.
The company, Smile Digital Health, focuses on improving global health through innovative health data platforms and data management solutions used in over 20 countries.
The role involves shaping project approaches, implementing solutions, writing code, creating components, and ensuring they meet development requirements.
Responsibilities include writing manageable code and unit tests, creating relevant documentation, participating in client meetings, and assisting the team in completing project tasks.
The developer will engage in code reviews, pair programming, and collaborative problem analysis with teammates.
Participation in monthly Technology meetings to guide corporate technical processes, architecture, and strategy is required.
Compliance with privacy, security, and confidentiality policies is mandatory.
Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years of strong Front End development skills using Angular, JavaScript/Typescript, HTML, and CSS is required.
Candidates must have a completed Engineering, IT, or Healthcare Bachelor's degree or a College diploma in a related field, along with equivalent experience.
Experience in troubleshooting and debugging Front End issues and behaviors is necessary.
A thorough understanding of UI/UX principles and development is essential.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teammates are required.
Experience with Java/Spring-boot is preferred.
Familiarity with tools such as Slack, Google technologies, Figma, Jira, Git, Postman, Microsoft Azure, Jasmine/Karma/Jest, Rest APIs, and Bootstrap is preferred.
Experience with healthcare standards like HL7 and FHIR is a plus.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, docker containers, and networking is an asset.
Familiarity with agile and scrum processes is required.
