Remote Front End Developer - React.JS (Part-timer/Freelancer/Contractor)

Description:

• Foodics is a leading restaurant management ecosystem and payment tech provider, founded in 2014, with headquarters in Riyadh and offices in five countries, including UAE, Egypt, Jordan, and Kuwait.
• The company serves customers and partners in over 35 countries and has processed over 6 billion orders.
• The position is for a Freelance/contract based front-end developer with experience in React.JS.
• Responsibilities include building client-facing components and SPA applications, ensuring high-quality, clean, and maintainable code.
• The role involves using markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages, maintaining and improving websites, and optimizing applications for maximum speed.
• The developer will design mobile-based features, collaborate with back-end developers and web designers, gather user feedback, write functional requirement documents, create mockups and prototypes, assist back-end developers, ensure graphic standards and brand consistency, and stay updated on emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• A BSc degree in Computer Science or a relevant field is required.
• Proven work experience as a Front-end developer is necessary.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model, is essential.
• A thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles is required.
• Experience with popular React.js workflows, such as Flux or Redux, is needed.
• A good understanding of asynchronous code is necessary.
• Experience with consuming RESTful APIs is required.
• The ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean JavaScript code is essential.
• Experience with writing unit tests is necessary.
• Comfort with version control tools such as Git or SVN is required.
• Proficiency in English is a must.
