Remote Front End Engineer

Description:

• As a Front End Engineer at Knotch, you will be responsible for designing efficient, scalable, and visually appealing design systems for web applications.
• Collaborate daily with a fast-paced team to deliver premium enterprise user-facing products.
• Report directly to the Lead Front End Engineer, Mike Kerslake.
• Develop interactive UIs to present data-intensive charts and dashboards.
• Build JavaScript tag integrations for client websites and web applications.
• Collaborate with BE and API engineers to integrate UI elements with server-side logic.
• Work with the UX/product team to find solutions to complex problems.
• Identify opportunities to enhance current systems through auditing or benchmarking.
• Take ownership of new features and maintain front end test coverage.
• Support teammates through pair programming and mentoring.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of industry experience in writing, deploying, and operating high-quality code across the technology stack.
• Proficiency in building complex web applications using JavaScript, React, GraphQL, and Styled Components.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Knowledge of Web Application fundamentals and related libraries/tool chains.
• Familiarity with browser technologies, RESTful API, cross-browser compatibility, and DOM.
• Experience in continuous delivery, automated testing, and agile development.
• Curiosity and a continuous learning mindset.
