Remote Front-End Engineer

Description:

• The platform provides low latency, deep liquidity, and maximum availability for cryptocurrency derivatives traders, with over 100 derivatives contracts and 16 pairs for spot trading.
• As a Senior React Engineer, you will design and implement fast, real-time web applications using React.JS.
• Key responsibilities include developing the BitMEX Web Frontend and React Native components, working independently and cross-functionally to deliver products, designing and implementing new features, bug fixing, performance tuning, and mentoring other engineers.
• You will also explore new stack components and architecture ideas and regularly review code.

Requirements:

• You must have intimate experience with JavaScript and its performance characteristics.
• Experience with NodeJS, React, and Flux architecture is required.
• Familiarity with Jest, Flow, Webpack, Make, and Sass is a plus.
• You should have experience making complex, data-driven products accessible to consumers.
• The ability to simultaneously develop several products and concepts is necessary.
• Familiarity with current UX trends and curiosity for new UX concepts is important.
• Experience with trading derivatives products, preferably bitcoin derivatives, is required.
• A strong understanding of Bitcoin’s value proposition and a willingness to be paid in bitcoin is essential.
