Description:

We are seeking a Front-End Engineer to join our team of innovators, strategists, and problem-solvers at Sago.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for building amazing user experiences and will contribute to the planning, design, development, and maintenance of large web applications.
This role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and close work with UI/UX designers regarding interface design and implementation.
The candidate should have over 5 years of experience in front-end development using React/Redux/Reselect, sass-modules, and styled-components.
A strong understanding of the JavaScript toolchain, WebSockets/SSEs, and a willingness to learn new technologies is essential.
Typescript experience is preferred but not required.
The position involves improving and developing user-facing features while making pragmatic decisions regarding UX/UI concerns.
The candidate will also be responsible for contributing to a maintainable application codebase and coordinating efforts with architects, backend developers, and other staff.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
The candidate must have at least 3 years of experience with React/Redux or comparable technologies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration.
The ability to learn about our industry, users, and clients, and empathize with their priorities and needs is essential.
A willingness to learn new technologies and libraries is expected.
Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities are required.
The candidate should be self-motivated and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
A track record of successful remote work is preferred.
Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and ES6 is required, with Typescript experience being a bonus.
Proficiency with React (both class and functional components), Redux, Reselect, and HOC patterns is necessary.
Familiarity with SPA toolchain (Webpack, Babel, eslint, prettier, etc.) and CLI tools (git, npm, bash scripts, etc.) is required.
