Description:

The Trustly Americas team is seeking a Front-End Engineer to join their Customer Experience team, which is responsible for the presentation layer of Trustly for customers.
The role involves creating and maintaining web features, including integration scripts and developing unit tests.
The engineer will investigate application problems in collaboration with support, backend, and merchant teams.
Responsibilities include proposing refactors, estimating task efforts accurately, analyzing data for performance improvements, and identifying performance issues.
Participation in technical meetings to propose solutions, creating alarms in metrics systems, and indicating new tools and technologies are also required.
The engineer will support and train new developers on the development process and participate in functional meetings with non-engineering teams.
Documentation of features and creation of integrated tests in the provided tool are essential tasks.
The role includes analyzing proposals in refinement meetings and participating in war rooms to create action plans.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience developing or designing software systems.
A strong understanding of layout aesthetics and a drive to create thoughtful UX experiences and pixel-perfect web pages are required.
Excellent coding skills in Javascript (ES6), HTML, and CSS are necessary.
Expertise in the React Framework is essential.
Candidates should possess excellent coding skills and a solid understanding of object-oriented concepts.
Previous experience with source control is required.
Strong written and verbal English skills are a plus.
