Description:

  • LivePerson is seeking a talented Mid-Level Frontend Engineer to join their Integration Hub (iHub) team, working remotely from Germany.
  • The role involves developing, testing, and maintaining dynamic web applications using Angular, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
  • The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy user-centric features.
  • Responsibilities include writing clean, reusable, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
  • Participation in code reviews is required, providing constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code.
  • The engineer will optimize web applications for speed and scalability, ensuring responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging issues across multiple browsers and devices, especially in collaboration with customers, is part of the role.
  • The position emphasizes contributing to a collaborative, positive team culture that fosters learning and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in front-end development with a focus on Angular.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+), along with experience in TypeScript, is required.
  • Hands-on experience with modern Angular (15+), including state management libraries like NgRx or Redux, is necessary.
  • Familiarity with the overall JavaScript ecosystem, including tools like npm, Webpack, and Gulp, is expected.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating backend services is required.
  • Knowledge of responsive design principles is essential.
  • Candidates should be able to work with version control using Git.
  • The ability to write unit tests and work with testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Jest, etc.) is necessary.
  • Strong, proactive communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment in a remote setting are required.
  • Willingness to participate in paid on-call duty approximately every 6-8 weeks is expected, in alignment with the "You Build It, You Run It" philosophy.
