Description:

  • DocMe360 is seeking an innovative and motivated Front End Engineer with a strong background in AI to join their dynamic team.
  • This role is essential for developing user-friendly web interfaces that provide a seamless user experience and enable data-driven decision-making.
  • The engineer will collaborate with back-end engineers, data scientists, and product managers to build applications that visualize and interpret complex data for clients in the government sector.
  • The position may be contract, contract-to-hire, or direct hire.
  • Key responsibilities include developing responsive and visually appealing front-end web applications using React, Redux, and React Hooks.
  • The engineer will implement AI-powered solutions leveraging APIs such as OpenAI APIs and TensorFlow.
  • Writing unit tests and ensuring front-end applications meet high-quality standards through testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library is required.
  • Collaboration with back-end developers (Java, Spring Boot) to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data flow is essential.
  • The role involves applying user-centered design principles and following U.S. Web Design System (USWDS) standards to build engaging and intuitive UI components.
  • Monitoring application health and performance using Datadog, conducting thorough testing and debugging, and staying updated with the latest front-end technologies and best practices are also part of the job.
  • Gathering and analyzing user feedback to improve application functionality and user experience is expected.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with strong experience in React and Redux is required.
  • An understanding of RESTful APIs, SQL databases, Git, and experience integrating with a Java backend is necessary.
  • Experience writing unit tests for front-end applications using Jest and React Testing Library is essential.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git, is required.
  • Experience with responsive design and front-end development best practices is necessary.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience in government or public sector projects, familiarity with cloud AI services and AI-driven tools, and knowledge of U.S. Web Design System (USWDS) standards.
