Description:

  • Webflow is seeking a Front-end Engineer to join the Designer team in building personalized web and visual design experiences using Webflow Designer.
  • The role involves writing performant and accessible User Interfaces with technologies like React.js, Javascript/Typescript, HTML, and CSS.
  • The Front-end Engineer will collaborate with product managers and designers in an autonomous, supportive team environment.
  • Responsibilities include contributing to functional strategy, implementing technical solutions, and producing maintainable, tested, performant, and scalable code.
  • The position also involves participating in engineering citizenship activities such as co-authoring engineering blogs and improving hiring processes.
  • The role is full-time, permanent, and remote-first in Ireland and the United Kingdom.
  • The cash compensation is tailored based on geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a FE/UI engineer with a track record of shipping code.
  • Proficiency in advanced React and CSS patterns, deep understanding of Javascript and/or Typescript.
  • Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, Playwright, Cypress.
  • Prior experience working with feature teams on customer-facing products and prioritizing web accessibility.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, scoping solutions with teammates, and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to present to executive counterparts and work in an agile, safe-to-fail environment.
