Remote Front-End Engineer

Description:

• As a Senior React Engineer, you will design and implement fast, real-time web applications using React.JS, which is carefully tuned for performance.
• You should have experience working on a trading platform or be a user of a derivatives exchange, with a strong desire to work in the bitcoin space.
• Key responsibilities include developing the BitMEX Web Frontend and React Native components, working independently and cross-functionally, designing and implementing new features, bug fixing, performance tuning, mentoring other engineers, exploring new stack components, and regularly reviewing code.

Requirements:

• You must have intimate experience with JavaScript and its performance characteristics.
• Experience with NodeJS, React, and Flux architecture is required.
• Familiarity with Jest, Flow, Webpack, Make, and Sass is a plus.
• You should have experience making complex, data-driven products accessible to consumers.
• The ability to simultaneously develop several products and concepts in development is necessary.
• Familiarity with current UX trends and curiosity for new UX concepts is important.
• Experience with trading derivatives products, preferably bitcoin derivatives, is required.
• You should understand Bitcoin’s value proposition and be willing to be paid in bitcoin.
