Description:
First Connect (FC) is a software platform designed for insurance agents to enhance their efficiency and modernize the industry.
The flagship offering is a comparative rater that allows insurance agents to input data once and generate multiple insurance quotes.
Future developments will include integrations with external data sources to improve the agent's experience.
The role involves owning the rater area, focusing on user experience, speed, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities include rebuilding the rater, designing flows, managing integrations, and incorporating it into a new SaaS offering.
The position requires interviewing users to understand their needs and collaborating with engineering, design, and business teams, as well as insurance carriers.
The company is looking for a Mid Front-end Engineer who is eager to innovate and enjoy their work.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with React.
Proficiency in modern JavaScript and TypeScript is required.
Familiarity with Git, Docker, frontend tools, and bundlers is necessary.
Candidates should be able to engage in discussions regarding software design and architecture.
A willingness to learn and expand skillsets as required by ongoing projects is essential.
The ability to work independently as a problem solver while being a team player is important.
Candidates should be comfortable working with legacy code if needed.
A good command of Polish and English (both written and spoken) is required.
Availability in the afternoons is necessary due to potential evening meetings with the United States.
