Remote Front End Engineer - Network Engineering

Description:

• Cloudflare is seeking an experienced front-end engineer to join the Network Engineering team.
• The role involves building and running front-end applications used to observe and interact with Cloudflare's network infrastructure.
• The engineer will create tools that help various stakeholders, including software engineers and product managers, visualize and control the network.
• Responsibilities include participating in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience building web applications.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks like React or AngularJS is required, with bonus points for using Cloudflare’s Developer Platform.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential.
• Experience in designing intuitive user interfaces independently from Product or UX Design is necessary.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and Internet routing is required.
• Candidates should have experience working with or designing RESTful APIs for collaboration with backend developers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, with curiosity and empathy being highly valued traits.
