Description:
Cloudflare is seeking an experienced front-end engineer to join the Network Engineering team.
The team is responsible for building and maintaining the network infrastructure that supports all Cloudflare products.
The role involves developing front-end applications used to observe and interact with the network infrastructure.
Responsibilities include designing and building user interfaces for software engineers, network engineers, and product managers.
The ideal candidate should have a track record of building large-scale applications and a strong focus on quality and customer experience.
Experience with visualization of network data is highly desired for this role.
The position requires participation in all stages of the software development lifecycle, working with technologies like React, Next.js, TypeScript, and more.
Candidates should be growth-oriented, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in building web applications.
Proficiency in using modern frontend frameworks like React or AngularJS.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience in designing intuitive user interfaces without explicit direction.
Familiarity with TCP/IP and Internet routing.
Ability to work with RESTful APIs and collaborate with backend developers.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Curiosity and empathy are valued traits for this position.
