Remote Front-End Engineer (Next.js and React)

Description:

• Oowlish, a rapidly expanding software development company in Latin America, is looking for an experienced Senior Front-End Developer specializing in React and Next.js.
• The ideal candidate will work with premier clients from the United States and Europe on pioneering digital solutions.
• The role involves collaborating remotely, contributing to a nurturing work environment, and making a significant international impact.
• Key responsibilities include utilizing Next.js with App Router and React Server Components, working with Prismic Headless CMS, Chakra UI for frontend components, and ensuring ADA-compliant frontends.
• The candidate should have experience with Next.js API Routes, Configuration, Middleware, and server-side frameworks like Express.js or Next.js.
• Proficiency in English, time management skills, and flexibility to work on a Pacific Time schedule are essential requirements.

Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Over 4 years of experience using Next.js with App Router and React Server Components.
• Experience with Prismic Headless CMS (or other Headless CMS).
• Solid experience with Chakra UI for frontend components.
• Knowledge of Next.js API Routes, Configuration, and Middleware.
• Experience with accessibility and building ADA-compliant frontends using React.
• Experience with server-side frameworks like Express.js or Next.js for writing API endpoints.
• Ability to manage time effectively between development and code reviews.
• Open to working a 9am-6pm Pacific Time schedule.
