Remote Front-End Engineer, Node-RED

Description:

• FlowFuse is seeking a remote Front-End Engineer experienced in VueJS and NodeJS to contribute to building out Node-RED Dashboard 2.0.
• The ideal candidate should work independently, possess good communication skills, and collaborate effectively in an all-remote environment and Node-RED community.
• Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining features in Node-RED and Node-RED Dashboard 2.0, engaging with the open-source community, applying testing for quality assurance, and contributing to the company handbook and website.
• The company values iteration, continuous improvement, and documentation of best practices and processes.

Requirements:

• The position requires full-time availability (36-40 hours per week) and a minimum of 4 years of experience in Javascript with NodeJS and VueJS.
• Candidates should have startup experience, be comfortable with remote work, possess strong English communication skills, excel in collaboration, and demonstrate a can-do attitude.
• Technical stack familiarity should include VueJS, Node.js, Node-RED, data visualization tools (e.g., d3js/ChartsJS/Apache eCharts), Vuetify, Git and CI/CD (GitHub), REST API design, unit and integration testing, and documentation.
