Description:

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Puzzle, you will be responsible for building sleek, high-powered UIs for a leading product in the subscription space.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop industry-leading functionality that helps merchants manage their business features effectively.
Your role will involve creating a rich component library, test suites, and frontend scaffolding for future development.
Daily tasks may include working on UI for new features, creating reusable React components, writing tests in Jest and Playwright, reviewing code from peers, and triaging frontend issues to maintain quality.

Requirements:

You must have 5+ years of experience in building robust UIs using React and Typescript, including state management and data fetching.
Experience in defining API schemas and working with REST APIs is required.
A strong understanding of React's APIs, the render lifecycle, and experience in debugging React render cycles and web performance issues is essential.
You should have experience configuring and maintaining frontend build tools like Webpack, and familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, Storybook, and GitHub.
Knowledge of security and privacy best practices is necessary.
A deep passion for creating delightful visual experiences is expected.
You should have experience collaborating with design teams to shape design systems for consistent and pixel-perfect UIs.
