Description:

We are hiring a remote Front-End Engineer with Rails/Turbo/Stimulus experience to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our digital products.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with HTML/Javascript/CSS and some knowledge of the modern front-end stack of Rails/Turbo/Stimulus controllers.
You must be primarily a front-end engineer with a strong sense of design and usability.
The role involves implementing functional and beautiful customer-facing websites and ensuring responsive designs for optimal display across various devices.
You will collaborate with our designers and back-end engineers.
The ideal developer is self-motivated with real-world experience and does not need a fancy degree or big tech experience.
You must be able to own a project and work directly with people who will use your tools, demonstrating good communication skills.
A coding challenge will be part of the interview process, which all team members have successfully completed.
You must live and work within a few time zones of Pacific (California) time, as the team frequently uses Zoom and Slack for communication.

Requirements:

You must have 3+ years of experience in front-end design and JavaScript development.
You should have at least 1+ years of experience with Rails, Turbo, and Stimulus.
A strong understanding of UI/UX design principles is required.
Familiarity with SaaS products and their unique design challenges is necessary.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
You can be located anywhere, but you must be willing to work in the Pacific timezone.
Must-have hard skills include Rails, Turbo, Stimulus, JavaScript, responsive design, and HTML/CSS (we use Tailwind).
