Kettle is seeking a highly motivated Front-End Engineer to build intuitive, map-based applications.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in front-end development, particularly in creating geospatial interfaces using modern tools like React and Mapbox.
Responsibilities include designing and building responsive and interactive map-based user interfaces, evaluating the current front-end architecture, and collaborating with underwriting teams for a seamless user experience.
The role involves planning and implementing system improvements, developing internal tools and dashboards using Retool, and participating in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.

Requirements:

Candidates should have a proven track record of building and maintaining robust front-end applications, especially using React.

This is a contractor position offering flexibility with a commitment of approximately 20-30 hours per week on an on-demand basis.
The role pays between $60-$100 per hour depending on experience.
The position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work environment.
