Dandy is transforming the dental industry by integrating and simplifying every function of dental practices through technology.
The company is hiring a Front-End Software Engineer to build digital products and technological infrastructure for manufacturing dental prosthetics.
The role involves building interactive UIs and 3D visualizations for CAD-type programs, integrating AI, and interfacing with 3D model backend processing pipelines.
Responsibilities include delivering solutions to 3D graphics problems, contributing to internal libraries, building interactive web tools for users, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The engineer will design features for users with varying levels of 3D expertise, assess processes for improvements, translate user interactions for machine learning, and advocate for new technical architecture.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in a high growth environment.
A portfolio of relevant works is required.
Experience in 3D model or visualization programming (Three.js, WebGL) is necessary.
Proficiency in developing user interfaces using React, including building reusable components and managing state.
Understanding of 3D data structures, algorithms, and rendering techniques is essential.
Candidates should have deep knowledge of JavaScript and experience with large JS/TS applications.
A basic understanding of SQL and relational design patterns is required.
Candidates must believe in constructive code reviews and collaborative problem-solving.
A collaborative, pragmatic, and growth-oriented mindset is necessary, along with the ability to communicate complex technical problems clearly.
Self-motivation, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a remote-first organization are essential.
Full English proficiency and availability to work until at least 1pm US Eastern Standard Time are required.
