Description:
Level is seeking a Front-End Software Engineer, Tech Lead to architect, build, evolve, and maintain the foundational frontend platform used by Level’s customers and internal teams.
The candidate will partner closely with cross-functional counterparts to set and execute towards the team's vision, build high-quality applications, and inform API design and implementation through web best practices.
Responsibilities include providing hands-on leadership, driving adoption of design and coding best practices, architecting efficient frontend systems, and improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of software engineering experience, expertise in React, experience owning technical roadmaps, working with complex APIs and data models, and mentoring other engineers in their technical careers.
Requirements:
6+ years of software engineering experience.
Experienced frontend engineer with expertise in React.
Ability to architect and code solutions, define a vision, and lead the team to deliver on that vision.
Experience owning the technical roadmap for large business areas.
Proficiency in working with complex APIs and data models.
Experience building and using component libraries to develop customer-facing features.
Comfort working with confidential and highly sensitive information.
Enjoy mentoring other engineers in their technical careers.
