Remote Front End Staff Software Engineer

Description:

• Calibrate is seeking a Front End Staff Software Engineer to build, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance front-end software solutions to address dynamic business needs.
• The role involves designing and implementing front-end architecture and systems with a focus on iterative development, reliability, and simplicity.
• Responsibilities include managing technical dependencies, timelines, and deliverables for front-end projects, as well as partnering closely with product and design teams on discovery and experimentation.
• The position requires ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications, participating in code reviews, providing mentorship, and staying updated with industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software development experience, with strong skills in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Extensive experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
• Proficiency in systematic debugging, incident management, and operational monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a culture of effective communication and collaboration.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, UI/UX design principles, build tools, bundlers, security principles, and cloud services.
• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to align team efforts with organizational goals.
