VeliTech is seeking a Front-End Team Lead to join the VeliPlay product team, a dedicated game development studio.
The role involves leading the team in developing the front-end of products to ensure high-quality outcomes that adhere to technical guidelines.
The Team Lead will act as the main technical contact for all front-end-related issues within the team.
Responsibilities include handling technical tools and frameworks, promoting best practices in writing clean and efficient code, and implementing up-to-date development methods.
The Team Lead will help spread knowledge within the group focused on front-end technologies and keep abreast of new industry trends to enhance team performance and product quality.
The position also involves supporting the hiring of new team members, assisting in their development, and maintaining updated documentation of the code.
The role includes creating cross-browser casino games for desktop and mobile devices, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with the team to identify areas for enhancement.
The Team Lead will focus on improving end-user experience and optimizing product performance.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 7 years of experience in JavaScript, including advanced topics like ES6 features, closures, and asynchronous programming.
Experience in game development is mandatory.
A strong background in frontend frameworks, particularly React, is required.
Proficiency in Pixi.js and good skills in HTML/CSS for designing responsive websites is essential.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Frontend Team Lead in an international and diverse setting is necessary.
Understanding of Agile methods (like Scrum) and DevOps practices is required.
Knowledge of backend technologies, especially Node.js, is needed to support the development of complete solutions.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience with AWS services (ec2, alb, ecs, s3, cloudfront).
Hands-on experience in creating CI pipelines using GitlabCI and Docker is required.
Experience in performance optimization for web applications and familiarity with Strapi or other CMS is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in designing REST APIs, using micro frontends, implementing Docker for containerization, and working with public cloud platforms.
A solid understanding of webpack and familiarity with architectural patterns such as SOLID and FSD is required.
Excellent communication skills, team leadership, and relationship-building abilities are essential.
Proven ability to implement changes and achieve set goals is necessary.
Familiarity with AI tools for rapid development is considered an asset.
